Preparing for Admission
Be prepared before you get to the hospital and as you leave. Let us help make your experience the best as possible. Admission to the hospital usually will be scheduled by your child's doctor. Our inpatient admissions policy requires a child to be registered with an admissions representative. If your child has a hospital visit, please check in at the reception desk on the appropriate loction

In keeping with its family-centered care concept, Obijackson women & Children’s has consolidated useful resources at the waiting area located at Obijackson children’s hospital Triage
The process of getting your child ready to go home from Obijackson women &Children's Hospital actually starts as soon as he or she arrives at the hospital as we provide prompt and active care response. A discharge order will be written by the doctor when your child is ready to leave the hospital.
General: 11:30am- 6:30 p.m.
Intensive Care: 24 hours a day
Family members may visit at all times, except during nursing shift changes.
Please allow 45 minutes for shift changes.
Nursing shift changes:
7:30am - 8:15 a.m.
3:30pm - 4:15 p.m.
7:30 pm- 8:15 p.m.
11:30 p.m. - 12:15 a.m.
